On second look, it appears it’s not generally for their hubs (DTW, MSP, ATL, SLC), so it’s strategically set against the competition.
Atlanta is not included either? I like being in Atlanta for being able to get direct flights to just about anywhere but I am starting to despise Delta. Delta has a terrible rewards system and their flights out of Atlanta are very expensive.
I flew United the other day and was very impressed. They were very efficient, nice and their economy plus seating to Denver was very affordable.
NYC-CUN there is also $80 cash component in addition to 12k points.
So it’s more like $200.
Time is bad – 7pm arrival – all day wasted. Sad deal.
Convenient nonstop morning flights go ~$300.
Minneapolis not included. I’m just SHOCKED.
