Don’t Miss Out on the Citi Strata Elite Triple Dip, Plus 100K Bonus

If you are looking for a new credit card, then the Citi Strata Elite is currently a great option. There’s a 100,000 points bonus for spending $6,000 and you can triple dip some of the credits. Those credit alone could be as valuable as the annual fee, if not more.

I applied myself earlier this week and was instantly approved, unlike Benjy. I receive an instant credit card number as well, so I could start spending right away.

While the bonus it’s a good at 100,000 points, it’s less exciting when you factor in the $595 annual fee. But that’s where the credits and timing for a triple-dip come in, to make this a much more valuable card.

If you apply now, the annual fee should post later this month and you have a couple of week in 2025, the full 2026 and about a month in 2027 to use any eligible credits. That includes:

  • $200 Annual Splurge Credit which can be used 3x for a total of $600 and can cover the annual fee. Best Buy is one of the eligible merchants, which makes it easy to find something to buy.
  • $300 Annual Hotel Credit could be useful as well but you have to book a stay of 2 nights or more with Citi Travel, so it’s not exactly free money.
  • $200 Annual Blacklane Credit comes as $100 for Jan-Jun and another $100 for Jul-Dec. So you can use $100 in 2025, $200 in 2026, and then another $100 in 2027 for a total of $400. Not super exciting for me, but you can probably find value there.
  • Four Admirals Club Passes annually are also a triple dip opportunity for frequent travelers.

Let us know if you have already applied for this card, or if you plan to!
