Hyatt Centric Offer

(Targeted) Earn 2,000 Bonus For Staying One Night at a Hyatt Centric

I received a new offer from Hyatt and it looks to be a targeted offer for a bonus 2,000 points.  I would earn the points after staying one night at a Hyatt Centric hotel.  The offer also says I would earn a free night but that is because I am one brand away from earning a brand explorer perk free night.

Details of the Offer

The terms of the offer are as follows:

  • You must be a recipient of this offer to participate.
  • You will receive 2,000 Bonus Points after booking and completing each of your first two (2) eligible stays at a Hyatt Centric hotel between June 1, 2019 and August 31, 2019 (“Promotion Period”).
  • Maximum 4,000 Bonus Points may be earned during Promotion Period.
  • For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Stay” is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay.

So award nights would work, that is a nice plus. I could earn even more points if I stay at one of the new hotels in Italy, snagging an additional 500 bonus points.

Conclusion

I don’t have any travel plans to be where a Hyatt Centric is located by the end of August but I wish I did.  This would be a nice little discount on the regular award cost.  I imagine the stays would probably need to be broken up by one night. So if you don’t mind hotel hopping you could grab 4,000 points in a long weekend.  Getting a category 1-4 free night for knocking off another brand would be a nice plus as well!
