Prime Members Earn 5% at Whole Foods with the Amazon Credit Cards from Chase
Following the acquisition of Whole Foods, Amazon started rolling out some discounts for its Prime Members late last year. Then, just two weeks ago, Amazon started offering Whole Foods deliveries via its Prime service in select cities for now with intentions to make it available nationwide soon. Now there’s yet another Amazon benefit at Whole Foods.
Earn 5% at Whole Foods
Starting today, Chase, Amazon and Whole Foods Market are making it easier to earn rewards on groceries. Prime Members with the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card will earn 5% cash back when they shop at Whole Foods Market. Prime Members will also continue to enjoy 5% back on all Amazon.com purchases, 2% back at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores, and 1% back on all other purchases.
If you’re a Prime Member, you receive 3% back at Whole Foods Market when shopping with the Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card, in addition to 3% on all Amazon.com purchases, 2% back at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores, and 1% back on all other purchases.
Conclusion
Whole Foods is usually more expensive than other supermarket chains by recent comparisons, but they do sometimes offer cheaper items. With 5% cash back, Prime Members with the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card might find even more cheaper options than usual. Whole Foods also sells gift cards, so that might be interesting.
