Earn 70K Miles and 100 XP with Air France KLM Visa Signature Card

As it was previously announced, the Air France KLM World Elite Mastercard has now becomes the Air France KLM Visa Signature Card. The new card is now live for applications while existing cardmembers will automatically switch to the new version next month.

The card will still have a $89 annual fee, but will now earn 3X Miles for every $1 spent on eligible dining purchases in addition to the other earning options. There’s also an elevated welcome bonus of 70,000 miles and 100 XP as well as more anniversary rewards in the form of miles and XP. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

  • Earn 70,000 Bonus Miles and 100 Experience Points (XP) after you spend $3,000 or more within the first 90 days of your account opening.
  • Annual Fee: $89

Card Details

  • Earn:
    • 3X Miles for every $1 spent on eligible Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and SkyTeam member airline purchases
    • 3X Miles for every $1 spent on eligible dining purchases
    • 1.5X Miles per $1 spent on everyday purchases
  • Annual rewards:
    • 5,000 Miles every year on your account anniversary after you spend $50 or more on purchases within the anniversary year
    • Get 20 XP on your account anniversary
    • Earn an additional 80 XP (totaling 100 XP) on the account anniversary after you spend $15,000 or more on purchases within the anniversary year.
    • Earn an additional 60 XP (totaling 160 XP) on the account anniversary after you spend $25,000 or more on purchases within the anniversary year
  • Visa Signature perks
  • No foreign transaction fees

Conclusion

The Air France KLM credit card has now switched from Mastercard to Visa. There’s also a new welcome bonus of 70,000 miles and 100 XP. That’s enough for Flying Blue Silver Status.

The card has also added a new benefit of 3X miles on eligible dining purchases, and annual rewards which can be very useful for those chasing higher status. You can earn up to 160 XP every year by spending $25,000. That’s a good start for those looking to reach Platinum Status and book Air France La Premiere.

There’s one more thing. The annual fee is still $89.
