Earn Double Tier Credits at Total Rewards in February

Total Rewards dropped a bombshell of a devaluation at the end of 2017.  It removed a lot of value from the program and hit their biggest gamblers the hardest.  Probably not the best move on Caesars Entertainment’s part. The decision was met with much criticism.

About a month after the devaluation announcement they tried to throw Diamond players a small bone allowing them to keep their free lounge access for a few more months.

Now Total Rewards is offering double tier credits in February, up to a max of 25,000 tier credits.  I think it is in an effort to appease the angry players and gain back some favor.

Remember that you can also get Diamond status from the Founders Card along with other valuable perks.

Terms of the Deal

Register and double your Tier Credits in February – up to a maximum bonus of 25,000 Tier Credits.  You can earn tier credits the following ways:

  • Gambling on slots or table games
  • Hotel Purchases
  • Dining
  • Shopping
  • ShowTickets
  • Spa Services

For the purchases you earn 1 point per dollar.  For gambling it is based on your rate of play and length of play.

Remember that you must register first!

Conclusion

This is a good offer if you were planning a trip to or gambling at any of the Total Rewards casinos in the month of February.  It essentially cuts the cost of Diamond status (15,000 tier credits) or free lounge access (25,000 tier credits) in half.  That is if you are able to earn the points needed during the month of February.

I am unsure if the regular tier bonus points you can earn from play would also be doubled as well.  In the past that has been the case.  If that holds true again it would be possible to turn 5,000 earned tier credits into 30,000 tier credits.

The 5,000 tier credits would have to be earned in one 24 hour period for this to work though.  That would initiate a bonus of 10,000 tier credits for a total of 15,000 which would then be doubled to 30,000.

  1. Are poker credits included in this promotion? I have heard they were excluding poker from the term (table game).

  2. If the bonus is doubled, can you get to diamond by playing just to 2500 tier credits in a day? 2500 plus 5000 bonus equals 15K?
