eBay has launched a new promotion that will net you some additional savings for your purchases. You can earn 5% back on almost anything you buy on eBay. Let’s see how this promotion works.

The details are as follows:

  • 5% in eBay Bucks on every qualifying item
  • Targeted offer
  • Purchases must be completed by 11:59PM PT on August 25, 2021.
  • Rewards are capped at $100 per transaction and $500 per Earn Period

I guess eBay will continue offering these promotions, even though you can no longer earn eBay Bucks on purchases otherwise.

This is a decent offer that doesn’t have many exclusions, besides the usual cash equivalents such as gift cards, coins etc.. Make sure you use a card that earns a good rate on non bonus spend like the Blue Business Plus.

  1. I stack by using eBay gift cards I pick up at the supermarket which I buy with my Amex card that pays 5 or 6% cash back. Also, at Acme, you get 2% in points on GC purchases.
