Once again PayPal Digital Gifts is having a sale on gift cards today. Purchasing these cards should generate 5X Ultimate Rewards points if you pay with a Chase Ink Plus/Cash card through PayPal.

SVM Deals & CA Fees

There’s more gift card deals available from SVM, but you don’t earn earn 5x on these purchases. Also keep in mind that they’ve had issues recently with purchases coding as cash advances. It has not been resolved yet, so best to use an Amex card for these purchases.

Earn Cashback

In the past, you would be able to also earn portal cashback and eBay Bucks while purchasing gift cards. Unfortunately eBay Bucks are now out of the equation. As for portals, the best bet now is Ibotta that will give you 2% cashback on up to $10 per transaction.

I don’t really see any money makers here.

Conclusion

Always nice to see these deals. Check out the selection quickly and see if there’s anything that interest you, since best ones will go fast.

Keep in mind that there’s also an eBay Bucks promo for up to 10% going on till 3/9 and also 10% eBay Discount on $200+ Tech Purchases that ends today. These can’t be used for gift card purchases, but could be useful if you have any other eBay purchases planned.
