My wife got that offer, we cancelled out hotel in Dec. and rebooked it again. 21K points earned for three nights. Ka – Ching!! I combined that with an AS hack to do AMS – HEL – CDG on Finnair J for 20K.
Additional data point. There must be some variability in this promotion. I received an offer for 12,000 MR points for $600 in FHR spend.
