Fontainebleau Las Vegas Status Match

Fontainebleau Las Vegas Status Match

Update: As of now Fontainebleau has ended their match and is “reevaluating” it.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the newest casino to open on the Las Vegas Strip (check out Shawn’s tour) and thankfully this gives us a new Vegas status matching opportunity! After hearing some chatter about successful status matches, I decided to head down there after work to give it a shot for myself. Let’s take a look at how to do a Fontainebleau Las Vegas status match and what you’ll get for matching!

Fontainebleau Las Vegas Status Match – The Rewards Desk

With my Caesars Diamond card in hand, I headed to the Fontainebleau Rewards Desk. From the self-park entrance (South elevators), it is a little ways towards the back and to the left. Follow signs for “Rewards.” Upon arrival, an employee asked if I was there for tier matching or to enroll in the program. There were separate lines for each. The casino had just started operations, so the desk was fully staffed, and processed guests fairly quickly.

What Works for the Fontainebleau Status Match?

To take advantage of the Fontainebleau Status Match I presented my ID and my Caesars Diamond card while signing up. I was then offered a status match to Fontainebleau Rewards Gold. Tiers for their program are Bleau, Silver, Gold, and Royal. I’ve also seen confirmations of a similar match from MGM Gold and higher while they were not matching Hard Rock Icon status. The matched status is good until December 31, 2024.

While I was at the desk, I saw another patron attempting to match MGM Noir. I overheard the employee tell him that Fontainebleau Rewards Gold was the highest tier they were matching. So, it appears the Royal top tier may be out of reach, but your mileage may vary.

Fontainebleau Gold Status – Generous Perks

In my opinion, Fontainebleau has come out of the gates with very strong offers and perks to entice potential business. They have the standard perks you’d find with status at other casinos: free valet and parking, complimentary upgrades, late checkout, early check-in, waived resort fees, priority lines, bonus point accumulation, etc.

$150 Dining/Spa Credit for Gold

The best part of the offer is a $150 dining credit and a $150 spa credit. Both are one-time use and are good until the status expires. This is a very generous offer; no play is required to receive this perk.

Fontainebleau’s Free Play Offers

Fontainebleau Las Vegas also has offers that give free play depending on how much you gamble. For example I was offered $15 in free play after earning 25 Play points or $50 in free play after earning 500 Play points. Point are earned at a rate of 2 points for every $1 of rated play and can be redeemed at a rate of 100 points for $1 of slot play.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas Status Match – Bottom Line

The Fontainebleau Las Vegas status match is definitely worth doing if you find yourself in Las Vegas in the near future. These offers can be pulled at any time, so it’s best to act quickly if you are able to do so. The spa and dining credit are a fantastic little “welcome” and the other perks should come in handy as well.

      • well I don’t feel bad about not getting this as I don’t live in vegas!

Spent a lot of time earlier this year in Vegas-area (camping in Spring Mtns) and late last (other NV too)…odds are I won’t be visiting for years to come.

Now that the Rio is no longer part of Caesars…that was (still is?) my fav hotel – especially with $10/night rates. Got an offer for 3 free nights…but have to pay resort fee…unless one could match to higher Rio Rewards?

Guess my Caesar Diamond free dinner will “go to waste” (Not used). Though just looked..maybe I might be able to use that at Caesars WIndsor or Atlantic City or maybe Tahoe as I could be in those areas in the future….but still hazy on that outlook.

  1. I gave them both my Caesars Diamond and MGM Gold and they told me that Caesars Diamond would only get Silver and my MGM Gold got me Gold.
