Free Hole19 Golf GPS App Access For Amex Cardholders
There is a deal out there that golfers may find interesting. Some (all?) Amex cardholders are being targeted for the Hole19 premium GPS golf app. I know a few friends that use the free version of the app but this gets you away from all those ads plus some other nice features. I’ll show you how to check if you are targeted and what you get with the offer.
Update 10/16/22: Got a report that this is working again for new sign ups.
Update 8/18/22: Apologies, I guess this deal has already died and been maxed out. I’ll try it again later and see if they open up more spaces but right now it says it has been redeemed too many times.
Hole19 Premium Golf App Features

How To Check If You Are Targeted
Here are the steps to check if you are targeted for the free membership:
- Download the Hole19 App (Android or iOS)
- Create an account
- Check this page to see if you are targeted (enter first 4 digits of your Amex card)
- If targeted click to redeem the offer
- Select the Premium Pro plan (should show $0 cost)
- Enter your American Express Card information to “pay”
- Click “confirm and unlock” to start using the offer
Just remember that you will be charged the full price once the year long free trial is up. You can, and should, disable the auto renew on your account after setting everything up.
Final Thoughts
This is a pretty nice offer to get to try something out that seems like it could be pretty useful, assuming it works well of course. I would love the club recommendation and scoring feature of the app. With this offer requiring the first four numbers of an Amex card pretty much anyone with an Amex card should be able to do it. Those numbers are not unique to individual cardholders. It looks like any card starting with 34 or 37 will work.
I’ll sign up for it and then turn off the auto renew. Hopefully it shaves a few strokes off my game. Or, it should help me keep score as the beers pile up on the back 9 at least!

I was just able to take advantage of this offer so they must have opened some more space. Just letting everyone know.
