Articles
Here are the articles for this edition:
A change.org petition you probably should sign – Miles Per Day
The death of money orders at the USPS was a dagger to many. This is worth signing even if there is only a tiny chance that it actually works.
Amazon Froze Some Accounts for Various Abuses including Paid Reviews – DoC
Also check out Chuck’s write up about his account being frozen for buying too many 50 cent gift cards in a row. It is linked to in the article and it is a must read.
Pros And Cons: Ranking The “Tier 2” Rewards Credit Card Banks – Milenomics
A good list of the lesser known banks and the pros and cons of each. I am not sure if I agree with the order of the rankings but to each their own. I may be a little harder on Bank of America too because they are basically saying no to everyone these days!
Carl Icahn has big plans for Uber and Lyft – New York Post
Pretty smart idea on buying good cars that all have the same flaw and just correcting that flaw. I am not sure if it will work with Uber and Lyft but an interesting perspective none the less.
United Airlines Saga: Flight Cancelled, Rebooked, then Cancelled – Travel With Grant
These types of stories are always terrible to hear about but I like to read them in case I cam across a similar situation. Knowledge is power. Sounds like United can’t do anything right these days!
