Cleveland Airport Gets A Priority Pass Restaurant! – One Mile at a Time
Priority Pass has been adding restaurants at pretty regular pace lately, Capers in Portland was one of the first. They even have a distillery in their program! These options offer outsized value compared to traditional lounges. They allow you to get a full meal with beverages vs just some snacks and a limited cocktail selection. I hope the trend continues and that they add one at DTW :).
Wynn is out at the Wynn – Inside Asian Gaming
Steve Wynn has been in the news a lot lately for sexual harassment that spanned 2 decades. He had already resigned and now he has sold all of his shares. Steve Wynn is no longer a part of the company he built. This comes at a crazy time for the company with their expansion plans in Las Vegas. It will be interesting to see if that is delayed at all.
My Aeroplan SWISS First Class Standoff Ends In A Compromise – Milenomics
I like reading about first hand experiences when things go awry and seeing how they get resolved. This is a good write up about a situation with a “mistake fare” of sorts booking but with points. In my article about my issues with Amex’s chat department I said that you need to stay on top of things these days when something doesn’t work out since customer service is a thing of the past. I guess I would add to it, mistakes and issues create opportunities if you are willing to see it to the end.
Centurion Lounge Coming to Denver International Airport – Doctor of Credit
Not many details about it at this time but it is good to see expansion happening with Centurion lounges. American Express announced that they were adding a lounge to JFK late last year and now they have set their sights Denver. I hope the growth continues. I am guessing that Amex has seen enough growth in membership since starting this program to keep it going and growing.
DEAL DEAD – Pajama MS with Tio – Miles per Day
I never partook in this particular brand of MS since I try to limit my activities to avenues with outsized gains. But it did have it’s temptations. Being able to plow through large amounts of spend while sitting at home is pretty awesome!
Ebates is running double cash back in store this weekend…may be worth taking a look!
