GiftCardMall Lowers Monthly Limit for Portal Cashback

GiftCardMall is a popular source for gift card purchases. One reason for that is that you can earn cashback for these purchases when going through shopping portals. There were limits, but they were generous, at $60K per month. That meant that purchases above $60K monthly would not earn cashback.

Now now that limit has been drastically lowered. Doctor of Credit reports that GiftCardMall sent out an email to affiliates about this change that will go into effect on June 29th.

The Terms & Conditions for this program have been changed and now the monthly cap for order revenue has moved from $60K to $2K per individual. If an individual consumer spends more than $2K a month, the additional amounts will be corrected out.

So starting from June 29th, you will only earn cashback on the first $2,000 in purchases monthly at GiftCardMall.

Conclusion

That is s big hit for those who used GiftCardMall often for their gift card purchases. You have about one more week to take advantage on the current limits, if you haven’t already done so.

GiftCards.com has not been affected by this change, at least for now.
