Hilton’s Unlimited Points Promo is Better Than Last Year

2019 is practically here, so it’s time for some Q1 Loyalty program promotions. The upcoming Hilton Honors promotion is set to launch on January 4. Though you can (and should) register now on the official promo page so that you don’t forget.

You may remember Hilton ran a similar offer last year—however this time around, bonus points are based on nights or stays, whichever you complete first. In other words, you can earn the 10,000 Bonus Points whether you meet go for nights or stays!

Key Details

  • Registered members will earn 2,000 Bonus Points per stay during the promotion period
  • An additional 10,000 Bonus Points will be awarded for every 5th stay completed or every 10th night completed, whichever comes first
  • Each time a member achieves 5 stays or 10 nights, 10,000 Bonus Points will be awarded, and the stay/night count will reset (i.e. you can earn as many 10k bonuses as you can fit within the promo period.)
  • Only nights stayed between January 4 – May 5, 2019 will count toward the promotion
  • Register here

Conclusion

To give you a quick idea of how many points you would earn, let’s say you stayed at 3 different Hiltons for 4 nights each. You would get 2k Points for each stay (so 6K from stays) and 10K points for meeting 10 nights. You’d also have a head start towards your next 10k because two of those night carry over.

Hilton tends to be pretty generous in giving out points, of course their redemption prices can be huge too. Though I find their program to be fair and very well done compared to others. We also love the Amex Hilton Cards over here, especially the Aspire.
