Hyatt Regency St. Louis Hotel Review – Steps from the Arch
I recently went to St. Louis to check out the St. Louis Cardinals baseball stadium. We were in the area for one night before moving on to Kansas City to check you the Royals stadium as well. The Hyatt Regency St Louis has one of the best locations in the city, just steps from the St. Louis Arch. In my Hyatt Regency St. Louis hotel review I will go over the room, location, cost, amenities and my overall reccomendation.
As stated above the location of the hotel is superb. It is in the heart of downtown just steps from the Arch and the riverfront. The baseball stadium is within walking distance and there a few casinos just minutes away as well.
Hyatt Regency St. Louis Hotel Review – Check In
1 of 4
The lobby is pretty large and very open when you first walk in. There are a few restaurants near the front entrance, including Ruth’s Chris. There are a few more restaurants on the other side of the check in desk.
The check in area is off to the left when you first walk in. It is a little narrow but they do have a regular line and elite status line which is nice to see. Check in was a breeze, no issues.
Hyatt Regency St. Louis Hotel Review – Room
The room was fairly standard for a Hyatt. It was updated and in good condition. The room was very clean and fairly spacious. I was in a room with two queens and it didn’t feel cramped at all.
The bathroom had the standard tub/shower combo. There was a large vanity but only a single sink.
We ate at Brewhouse and it was pretty good. The fish & chips were excellent. They had a generous beer selection and it was busier than expected before the baseball game. I think it is a location that locals frequent which is a good sign.
Hyatt Regency St. Louis Hotel Review – Amenities/Lounge
There was a nice little gift shop in the lobby and a fairly decent sized workout room overlooking the city. The real gem of the hotel is the club lounge.

I used one of my 4 lounge certificates while staying here that I got via the MLife status match trick. I was impressed with the offering in the lounge during the day as well as the breakfast.
They had a ton of snack options, cans of soda, and (Shawn’s favorite) a fridge full of Perrier. It is better than most of the US lounges I have been in. The views of the river and the Arch are pretty amazing too. It may be worth booking a club room with points (12,000 instead of 8,000) when staying here if you don’t have access via status. They also offer discounted beer and wine in the evening.
Hyatt Regency St. Louis Hotel Review – Conclusion
Overall the Hyatt Regency St. Louis offers a great value on points, a superb location, and a ton of dining options. The real gem of the hotel is the club lounge if you are able to get access to it. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfy. I would recommend this hotel for your next trip to St Louis.

They are making fraudulent charges my my credit card 1 month after my stay. They never called my, no email, nothing.
They just billed my card 200.00, without my permission, they said it was a mistake when I checked out.
they won’t reverse the charges. The housekeeping staff went through my bags, they stole my prescription medication from my bag when I was attending a convention for work.
At only 8,000 points per night the Hyatt Regency St. Louis offers an amazing value for your Hyatt points. It also has one of the better club lounges out there.Hyatt Regency St. Louis Hotel Review - Steps from the St. Louis Arch

Stay anywhere else.
I believe that’s the former Adam’s Mark…beautiful building and the location is perfect for exploring downtown.
Interesting. I agree the location is hard to beat!
