Improved Chase Sapphire Reserve Welcome Bonus Coming Soon
As you might already know, Chase recently updated the welcome offer for the Sapphire Preferred card. You can earn a whopping 100,000 points if you are eligible, and are approved for a new card. Now Chase is also planning to up the offer for the Sapphire Reserve card as well, but it falls well short of the current Sapphire Preferred offer.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve card will have a new 70,000 points offer in branch starting tomorrow, June 18th. The information comes from EosHuffer on reddit, which has been a reliable source for credit card offers in the past. Mailers will also be sent out a few days later, and probably we will also see this new offer become publicly available online.

Chase has stopped matching bonuses, and that is expected to be the case with this new Sapphire Preferred offer.

We have seen offers has high as 100,000 points for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. But currently the public offer is for 60,000 points. That means that you can soon earn an additional 10,000 points compared to the current offer.
The Sapphire Reserve card is a great product if you can maximize the benefits. Besides the travel perks, it also lets you redeem points at a value of 1.5 cents a piece for charges through Pay Yourself Back. Current cardholders have also been receiving $100 credit on the recently increased $550 annual fee.
