JetBlue Launches New Status Match
JetBlue has launched an ongoing status matching program for select elite frequent fliers from major US airlines.
The “Match to Mosaic” program will give Mosaic 1 or Mosaic 2 status to those with elite status on Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, American Airlines, or Alaska Airlines.
Eligible customers will be able to enjoy the benefits of Mosaic status for three months and they will also have the opportunity to extend it even longer by earning more tiles.
Who Can Match?
Update: More airlines have now been added. That includes Frontier, Southwest, and Spirit, in addition to Alaska, American, Delta and United.
How to Match Status to JetBlue Mosaic
- Apply below by submitting:
- A screenshot of your frequent flyer program profile showing your full name and proof of status
- A screenshot or photo of your most recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email showing your status, if you’re matching to Mosaic 2
- You must have an existing TrueBlue account in order to get a status match. Not a TrueBlue member? (Join now, it’s free!)
- Please allow up to 4 weeks for processing.
- You’ll be notified by email and once approved, you’ll receive Mosaic 1 or 2 status for 3 months.
How to Extend Your Mosaic Status
Your status match is valid for 3 months, but you can extend your Mosaic status through the following calendar year by earning and receiving the following number of tiles within the 3 month period of receiving your matched Mosaic status.
- 10 tiles to keep Mosaic 1
- 25 tiles to keep Mosaic 2
- 40 tiles to earn Mosaic 3
Tiles can be earned through JetBlue travel, JetBlue credit card spend, or a combination of both. You get 1 tile for every $100 spend on JetBlue flights, JetBlue Vacations packages, or Paisly by JetBlue. You can also earn 1 tile for every $1000 spend with your JetBlue card.

Aside from points earn rate on cash tickets, what benefit does tier status afford that a premium cabin/seat ticket does not? And, if we are successful in flying only on points, the points earn rate is irrelevant as well.
