JetBlue to Start Operations at Long Island MacArthur Airport
JetBlue announced this week that it will start operating at another airport in the New York Metro area. New York’s Hometown Airline will launch service for the first time from Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) with tickets already on sale today.
Starting this October, JetBlue will begin offering flights to three destinations in Florida. That includes Orlando International Airport (MCO), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI).
JetBlue will fly once a day to Orlando (MCO) and four times weekly to West Palm Beach (PBI) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). To celebrate today’s announcement, and for a limited time, travelers can take advantage of special $49 one-way fares for flights on these new routes.
This new service will bolster JetBlue’s presence in the New York Metro area, complementing its existing operations at the other three major airports in the area, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
