Kmart has a gift card deal going on that can save you money towards your next purchase and also net you some Shop Your Way points. Let’s take a look!

  • Shop You Way members get a $10 Kmart Award Card plus $2 in points with a $100+ Mastercard gift card purchase.

About the Mastercard Gift Cards

Mastercard gift cards can be tricky to use at Walmart and they’re also more susceptible to problems. Kmart itself is one way to liquidate them through bill pay, but that will cost you $1.50.

Liquidate the Award Cards

The rebate comes in the form of a Kmart Award Card. These are similar to Kmart Gift Cards and can be used to purchase merchandise and probably gift cards at Kmart or Sears, but it’s YMMV.

Conclusion

This is a good deal for those with a Kmart location nearby. Fine print says “offer available on purchase of $100 Mastercard gift purchase” but ad shows $100+ Mastercard Gift Card. Based on previous deals, higher denominations should work to trigger the $10 Award Card.

Make sure you use the Award Card and points soon, because Sears and Kmart are in financial trouble and they could soon become useless.
