Michigan FanDuel Promotion: $100 In Free Bets For Early Signup
The state of Michigan legalized sports betting in December of 2019. A few of the Detroit casinos opened their newly created sports books on March 12th. And, sports effectively shut down the next day, on March 13th, because of the coronavirus. Talk about HORRIBLE timing. The sports books have been back open a few months now, but what hasn’t been up and running yet is online sports betting. Many states with legalized sports betting allow players to make bets online, via an app etc., while they are within the borders of the state. Michigan has paired up with FanDuel to make just that happen. FanDuel should be up an running soon for all Michigan residents but if you sign up now there is a Michigan FanDuel promotion. You can get $100 in free bets just for signing up early.

I was unable to track down the terms but it says multiple places that no deposit is required. Usually with online sports books you need to deposit an amount and then they match it etc. If you gamble at all, and live in Michigan, I would give it a try. Usually they will make you bet the free money x number of times before you can withdraw it. I would imagine something like that will be put into place for this offer as well but that is speculation on my part.

Final Thoughts
I already signed up, it took me less than 2 minutes. I am assuming they will email me when it goes live. I will update this post when that happens. It seems like it will be some free play that will probably come with some hoops you need to jump through before you can cash anything out.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 5X bet limit on the free play before you can cash it out. That means you would have to make $250 in sports bets before you can cash out the $50 in free play. That amount would require a few wins along the way. That is just a guess on my part since I have not seen any terms yet.
If you have a gambling problem please do not take advantage of this offer, even if it is “free” money. They are trying to get you into their eco system so you will make future bets with them.
