New Mint Coin Opportunity, Big Spend and Up to $350 Profit
Tomorrow the US Mint will release some new coins that could get you a huge amount of credit card spending, and a nice profit. There are several buying groups that will buy these coins and sometimes offers get better as we get closer to the release date. Some smaller deals will also be available on the same day, so keep an eye out for those as well if you strike out on the big one. Check out the details below.
Update 3/17/22: This goes live in an hour so get ready. You probably want to have everything set up at least 5 minutes before. Don’t buy unless you have a plan to sell already locked in!

How to Sell Coins
The only offers I have see so far are from MilesperDay for a $350 and PFS Buyers Club is for $162.55.
Shop around and see if you can do better. You can also try to sell them on your own, if you know what you are doing. But this is a very expensive coin set, so I would suggest having a plan in place before spending $5K+. If you don’t know the market, you could get stuck with coins that are useless to you, or end up with a big loss.
MilesperDay is also offering a good profit for some of the cheaper coins that are going on sale Thursday:
- American Eagle 2022 One-Half Ounce Gold Proof Coin – $175
- American Eagle 2022 One-Quarter Ounce Gold Proof Coin – $75
- American Eagle 2022 One-Tenth Ounce Gold Proof Coin – $25
Conclusion
This new coin deal is a great opportunity to knock our $5,000 in spending if you’re working towards a signup bonus. You can also just use a 2x card and earn 10,000 points, plus the profit which is at least $350 for now.
Since this is an expensive coin, it’s best to go with a trusted buyer that you have worked with in the past.
Let us know if you have done these coin deals in the past, or if you have run into any issues with previous deals.

Sorry Amex
Shawn bought with his Blue Business Plus last year and didn’t have a problem. Of course YMMV but I haven’t heard of problems.
I used my Amex Blue Business Plus card today and it worked for all four coins. DOC had a post that last year Amex reversed course on not charging these as cash advances.
