My 5 Favorite Deals from Day 1 of Prime Day – Share Yours Here
There have been a lot of deals dropped today and another day of deals coming tomorrow. I wanted to take a second and highlight a few that I found most interesting. Amazon does not make it easy to navigate the deals on their site for Prime Day so I am sure there are some great ones I missed. My Top 5 Prime Day Deals
Amazon Gift Card Deal – Buy a $25 gift card get a $5 credit
I am not including this in the top 5 because this is something everyone who shops on Amazon should buy. You could HATE Prime Day and you should probably still jump on this.
In no particular order here are the deals I found most tempting today:
Echo Dot & Smart Plug – $26.99
I love Echo Dots and smart plugs in particular. The Amazon smart plugs are on the expensive side (usually $20-$25 a piece) but they are the easiest to set up. I have usually taken advantage of this deal since you essentially get both items half off or BOGO. Nothing makes my kids more excited then having Alexa turn on the lights in their room.
Apple Airpods with Wireless Charging Case – $179.99
I really wanted to put the $169.99 Apple Watch here but that deal sold out. The regular Apple Airpods can drop as lows as $130 dollars with stacking but the wireless charging case model doesn’t go on sale as often.
Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV – Fire TV Edition – $99.99
This is the perfect bedroom TV or for the kids play room etc. Nothing beats a smart TV and at this price you are getting a deal. If you already have a TV but want to get your Netflix on you can get a Fire TV Stick for $14.99.
Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones – $139.99
These won’t replace your noise cancelling Bose headphones but they could be a great everyday option for the office or commute etc.
Perrier Carbonated Mineral Water, 16.9 fl oz. Plastic Bottles (24 Count), Limit 3 – $9.44
If you like Perrier, like Shawn does, then this might have been the best Prime Deal of the day. That is a pretty amazing price for 24 bottles of Perrier. Although it looks like Walmart matched the deal.
Because of that I will throw in a bonus, under the radar deal. McAfee is on sale today for $15.99 at checkout. That is cyber security that usually comes with a $79 price tag.

dumb question – do you have to gift the $25 amazon gift card to get the $5? When I put in my own email it asks me to just reload my balance, which I assume wouldn’t trigger the $5.
No I emailed the e-gift card to myself – I didn’t see the reload balance option when I did that.
I called & they credited me anyway. Be nice if they made note of that since reload is the 3rd option listed!

I almost put that Keurig Mini on my top 5 – it was one I highlighted on the master list. It is a great deal. The ancestry kits are awesome as well.
Got a fire stick and an echo dot for $12 minus Amex point deal. So came to $0.
