Miles to Memories Recap

Save $$$ On Gas With New Amex Offer – $5 off of $30

There is a new Amex Offer that came out yesterday that can save you money at the pump. I found it on multiple cards so it looks to be pretty widely targeted. It is for U.S. Phillips 66, 76 and Conoco locations.

Details of the Offer

Get a $5 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $30 or more, paid for at the pump, at U.S. Phillips 66®, 76® and Conoco® locations by 12/16/2019. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $15).

Terms:
  • Expires 12/6/19
  • You must make the purchase at the pump
  • Earn up to 3 statement credits ($15)

Final Thoughts

Getting 16% off of gas is always good in my book.  Hopefully you received the offer on a card that gets bonus points on gas purchases like the American Express Blue Cash Preferred (Learn More).

  1. 16% is a nice discount except that the gas prices for these brands (at least in my area) are considerably more expensive compared to QT or warehouse clubs. Therefore nullifying the 16 cents on a dollar.
