I don’t how all these people get all these perks and miles? I have always paid my bills on time and never LATE. I always read Amex news about special Items that come every once and while. Is it because I have a “DELTA/HILTON AMEX CARDS? I am just wondering, I like AMEX Cards (Because after all these years working around the world) I feel like I earned it, like my Father who was the AMEX MAN!!! He even had a AMEX WORLD MAP, which was engraved “1(One) Million Miles Club!!! He Passed Away with 6(Six) Million Miles, “He was very Proud of It. I guess those day’s are all gone, just happy memories. That’s probably the reason I’m a Pilot today and even still enjoy sitting in the back LOL.
My wife got an even better offer. 8 months ago I cancelled her no fee Hilton Card. 2 months ago Amex emails her and says we will give you 150,000 points to upgrade to the $95/year card. We did the spend at tax time and bingo, 150,000 points for a $95 card. It gets better. Yesterday, she has a offer to upgrade the card to the Aspire, for another 150,000 points and $4000 spend. I click the link and it says in 7-10 days your Aspire card will arrive. My Diamond level expires at year end, and now she will be Diamond. WooHoo. It still boggles my mind that going from NO Hilton card 3-4 months ago, to the opportunity for 300,000 Hilton points.
That has to be the best offers I have ever seen from Amex.
