New Chase IHG Premier Offer
Chase launched a massive 140,000 points welcome offer for the Chase IHG Premier credit card in March. That is the highest points offer we have seen on the card. But now there is a different offer that that gives you less points, but also $150 in statement credit and a waived annual fee the first year. Let’s check the details.
These Offers May Have Ended Or Changed

- Earn a $150 Statement Credit after first purchase.
- $0 Introductory Annual Fee for the first year, thereafter $89.

Welcome Offer Restrictions
This card falls under Chase’s 5/24 rule.
Chase also has a 24 month rule for every credit card:
This product is not available to either current cardmembers of this credit card, or previous cardmembers of this credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this credit card within the last 24 months.
Conclusion
Currently the IHG Rewards Club Premier Card has the highest points offer available with 140K bonus points for spending $3,000. This offer is comparable in value.
You get $239 and 65K less IHG points. Deciding which offer is better, really depends on your valuation of IHG points. If you value IHG points at 0.367¢ or more, then the 140K points offer is the better option. IHG points are often valued at around 0.40¢, but you also need to take into account the current situation. Most people won’t be able to travel for a whole and cash might be more valuable that usual.
