How to Sell Coins
The only offers I have see so far are from MilesperDay for a $350 and PFS Buyers Club is for $162.55.
Shop around and see if you can do better. You can also try to sell them on your own, if you know what you are doing. But this is a very expensive coin set, so I would suggest having a plan in place before spending $5K+. If you don’t know the market, you could get stuck with coins that are useless to you, or end up with a big loss.
MilesperDay is also offering a good profit for some of the cheaper coins that are going on sale Thursday:
- American Eagle 2022 One-Half Ounce Gold Proof Coin – $175
- American Eagle 2022 One-Quarter Ounce Gold Proof Coin – $75
- American Eagle 2022 One-Tenth Ounce Gold Proof Coin – $25
Conclusion
This new coin deal is a great opportunity to knock our $5,000 in spending if you’re working towards a signup bonus. You can also just use a 2x card and earn 10,000 points, plus the profit which is at least $350 for now.
Since this is an expensive coin, it’s best to go with a trusted buyer that you have worked with in the past.

I’ve had seamless experiences with both of those buyers.
Can we use the same card twice? I thought the card and shipping address have to be different since it’s limited to one per household? Thanks.
Really hoping I get this one – I just got a United biz card with 75K miles for $5K spend in 3 month, bumping up to 150K miles if I manage $20K total in 6 months. This would make me a serious contender for 150K.
Is this spend likely “safe” for Amex MSR?
I have never heard of issues in the past.
