New York City Hotel Week Offers Discounted Rooms
New York City is a notoriously expensive city when it comes to accommodations. Whether you are paying with cash or points you usually take a beating. The city is taking it easy on you this January with their NYC Hotel Week. Hotel week offers discounted rooms at select hotels from January 5th-15th 2018.
Details on the Promo
While the promo only runs for one and a half weeks it offers some decent discounts. There are 14 hotels participating that are scattered throughout Manhattan. Rooms are available at flat priced rates of $100, $200, $300, and $400. When I went to the site I only saw $100 and $200 rooms so maybe the more expensive rooms have been booked or prices increase for the weekends.
As stated above the promo runs from the 5th-15th of January. Most of the hotels are independent hotels but there are some chain hotels participating. I am not sure how point earning would work with the discounted rates so I wouldn’t focus on that if you were going to use the offer.
A couple of the hotels that caught my eye were the Viceroy which has a great location just down the street from the Park Hyatt. That could be a good choice at $200 a night. And the Dream Downtown looks pretty cool. A swanky type of vibe although the location isn’t the best in my opinion.
Conclusion
These look like good deals for NYC but remember it is January so most hotels will likely be discounted. Make sure you check other sites to ensure these are really the best deals for that time frame.
And if you end up going make sure to check out the American Museum of Natural History – you will not be disappointed!
Which hotel would you choose if you were going to take advantage of this deal?
