
Noted Collection by IHG
InterContinental Hotels Group has officially launched its 21st brand, named the “Noted Collection”.
This new addition is positioned within the company’s premium portfolio, sitting alongside existing brands such as Crowne Plaza, voco, and Ruby. The brand is designed to function as a soft-brand collection, meaning it allows independent upscale and upper-upscale hotels to maintain their individual character while gaining access to IHG’s global reservation system and the IHG One Rewards loyalty program.
The strategy for the Noted Collection focuses heavily on “conversions,” which involves bringing existing independent hotels into the IHG system rather than building new properties from the ground up. IHG leadership has indicated that there is significant demand from owners of one-of-a-kind properties for this type of partnership.
The global rollout for the brand will begin in the Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa (EMEAA) region before expanding to other markets. IHG has set a growth target of establishing more than 150 Noted Collection properties worldwide over the next ten years.
