Rakuten Offering 5% In-Store Cash Back for Select Merchants

Rakuten has a new promotion for the next two weeks with increased cash back rates for several merchants. You just need to link your card in your Rakuten account and then shop at eligible stores through December 24. Let’s check out more details.

The Offer

Earn Cash Back when you shop with your linked card at all participating stores, including:

  • Best Buy
  • GameStop
  • Nordstrom
  • Office Depot/Max
  • Petco
  • PetSmart
  • Walgreens
  • Walmart
  • and more

A linked offer is good for 1 hour after initial redemption. After such time the offer must be re-linked prior to your next purchase.

Key Terms

  • Offer expires 12/24/2021 at 23:59 PST.
  • Offer valid for a limited time and may be removed or modified by Rakuten at any time.
  • Offer not valid for gift card purchases.
  • When using your debit card, do not enter your PIN.
  • US stores only. Offer not valid at locations in US territories.
  • If you link to the same offer on more than one site, your qualifying transaction will only be eligible for rewards or benefits associated with the offer through the most recently linked site.
  • A linked offer that has not been redeemed will automatically expire on the date the offer itself ends.

Conclusion

This latest promotion includes some popular merchants such as Best Buy, GameStop, Office Depot, Walmart and more. You just need to link a card in your Rakuten wallet first, link an offer, and then use that same card in-store. You need to re-link an offer after one hour to use it for a second time.
