Things to keep in mind before cancelling the United card Milenomics

I never fly United so I have never had the urge to get this card.  But it is the most popular Chase co-branded card and it does come with some nice perks many don’t know about.  Some things to consider for sure.

Two new points hotels on the Las Vegas strip – Eater Las Vegas

Nice to see a couple more points options becoming available near the Las Vegas strip.  These will be good options for people who want to enjoy Vegas but don’t care about being in a mega casino resort.  Looks like there will be a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Alaska lounge coming to JFK – Virgin America

Move over Centurion you are not the only new lounge in town!  Alaska’s lounge should be opening in April of 2018 and it will be in terminal 7 which may make it more convenient for a lot of travelers versus the Centurion Lounge.  It should be a part of Priority Pass like the other Alaska lounges.  Remember that you get 10 free Priority Pass visits with the new Hilton Business card and the Hilton Ascend card (old surpass).

7 Course Meal at Disney for $15,000 – LA Times

This goes hand in hand with the Club 33 article in our last roundup.  You can have dinner in the 21 Royal club at a jaw dropping price tag of 15k.  It does cover 12 guests though!  If you have the money it sounds like it can be a cool experience with a balcony overlooking some of the shows.  I don’t have that kind of coin so I go to Disney for free instead 🙂.

How to fly Alaska Airlines for less miles – Seat 31B

A good post showing how to leverage partnerships and different mileage plans to fly Alaska Airlines for less miles.
