New Amex Offer, Earn 5X at Sam’s Club up to 1,500 Per Card

There’s a new Amex Offer that showed up this morning that can earn you 5X or 5% back on Sam’s Club purchases.

The Offer

Get 5X Membership Rewards points for purchases made using your enrolled Card  in-store at Sam’s Club by 12/31/2017. Limit 1,500 Membership Rewards points.

Offer Terms

  • Offer valid in-Club only.
  • Not valid on online purchases or via merchant mobile app.
  • Valid at participating locations in the US.
  • Excludes gas stations.

Conclusion

This offer is not as good as the one they had last year around the same time. But it should still come in handy since you can’t earn 5% on wholesale clubs this quarter through other cards. The offer is valid in-store only and you are limited to 1,500 Membership Rewards points, but hopefully you have the offer on a few cards.

  2. Q: Just curious if this offer shows up only on Amex cards that earn MR points? Or other cards too, like SPG, etc.? I can find it only on my card that earns MR. Thx.
