Save 15% at Marriott Hotels with New Chase Offer

Chase has a new targeted offer for select some cardholders. If eligible, you can save 15% on Marriott stays. Usually the same offers will also show up for US Bank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Regions Bank, Suntrust Bank, BBVA, BB&T, PNC, Columbia Bank and Beneficial Bank customers. Let’s see the details.

Update 9/3/22: More people have been targeted (HT DoC)

The Offer

The are two versions of this offer:

  • Earn 15% back on your Marriott Bonvoy stay when you spend a minimum of $100, with a maximum cash back of $85.00.
  • Earn 10% back on your Marriott Bonvoy stay when you spend a minimum of $100, with a maximum cash back of $50.00.

Over valid at all Marriott Bonvoy brands. Full payment must be made by 9/6/22 or 9/15/22.

Key Terms

  • Valid one time only
  • Payment must be made directly with the merchant

Conclusion

This offer can come in handy for your Marriott stays. You need to spend at least $100 to get the discount. The offer can be maximized by spending $567. Buying a gift card at the front desk will usually work as well, if you have a property nearby that actually sells them.

If you’re staying at a Marriot within the offer period, then it’s probably best to use the card at checkout. Otherwise, the hotel might put a hold on the card at check-in, which could count as the first Marriott charge. That could effectively use the offer, without actually getting a discount.
