Sonesta World Mastercard 155K Bonus

The Sonesta World Mastercard which is issued by Bank of America, has a new best ever welcome bonus that can earn you up to 155,000 points. However, most people will probably be interested only in the first two parts of the offer that get you 125,000 points with $2,00 spending. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

  • Earn up to 155,000 bonus points:
    • 120,000 bonus points after spending at least $2,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of account opening
    • 5,000 additional points after adding an authorized user within the first 90 days of account opening
    • 30,000 bonus points on your Account Anniversary, if you spend at least $7,500 on purchases in the anniversary year
  • $0 Introductory Annual Fee for the first year. After that there is a low Annual Fee of $75.

  • Automatic upgrade to Sonesta Travel Pass Gold tier status upon card approval
  • Earn 3 points per dollar spent on eligible Sonesta purchases
  • Earn 2 points on eligible airfare, car rental and dining purchases

Conclusion

The first part of the bonus is now doubled. So you can earn 120,000 points when you apply and are approved for the card, and spend $2,000 in the first 90 days. You also get 5,000 points for adding an authorized user and making one purchase in 90 days.

You also have the option to earn another 30,000 points if you spend a total of $7,500 in the anniversary year.
