Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Shopping Shop for School Bonus

Southwest Airlines has a new Shop for School promotion that can earn you some easy points when you shop through their shopping portal.

The Offer

During the “Back to School” bonus campaign, which runs from July 24, 2017 through August 18, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 2,000 bonus points on qualifying purchases, in addition to the standard points earned from shopping online through Rapid Rewards Shopping®.

  • “Back to School Bonus” bonus campaign runs from July 24, 2017 through August 18, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. ET
  • Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 2,000 points on qualifying purchases
  • Qualifying purchases do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.
  • Please allow up to 10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus points to post to your Rapid Rewards® account.

Earning Structure

  • Tier 1 (Spend $125, earn 250)
  • Tier 2 (Spend $300, earn 900)
  • Tier 3 (Spend $550, earn 2,000)

Conclusion

This bonus adds 2X-4X Rapid rewards points miles in addition to the normal payout that you will receive from the shopping portal. It’s a good idea to still use a comparison site like Cashback Monitor to make sure you are getting the best return. But, usually these bonus will give you great rates. Happy shopping.
