Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping Bonus

Southwest is offering customers an opportunity to earn extra miles when shopping through the Southwest Rapid Rewards shopping portal. Besides the usual earning rates, you will earn bonus miles for reaching a certain spending threshold. Let’s check the deatils.

The Offer

The “Mystery Bonus” offer runs February 25, 2022 at 12:00 a.m. ET through March 11, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Log in to the Rapid Rewards Shopping site to reveal the Mystery Bonus offer.

But it looks like everyone is getting the following bonus:

  • Get 500 bonus points when you spend $100.
  • Get 1,000 bonus points when you spend $300.

Conclusion

We see these bonuses from time to time for airline shopping portals. You can earn an additional 5x points if you spend $100, or an additional 3.3x points if you spend $300. That should give you the best earning rate available for most merchants, especially if you value Rapid Rewards points.
