Stash Invest, $60 Bonus with New Account and $5 Deposit
Stash is an investing app that makes it easy for beginners to get started. You need a minimum of just $5 to start investing. There’s a fee of $1 per month, or 0.25% per year on accounts over $5,000. You can read out full roundup on how to earn free stocks and cash to invest.
If you don’t have an account, you can now get a $60 bonus, with most of it through Swagbucks. Let’s take a look at how this offer works.
How To Cancel Stash (Update 4/20/22)
I (Mark) figured I would update this with the process to cancel your Stash account because it isn’t the most straightforward thing. Remember that you will be charged $1 per month if you keep it open past the first month. No need to lose more of our gains each month!
Step 1
You need to select your name at the top right of the screen (on desktop at least). Then select subscription from the left side of the drop down box. After that opens you want to click manage in the upper right of the new pop up.
Step 2
Once you get to the manage screen scroll all the way to the bottom. There you will see close my Stash for good in small print. Click that.
Step 3
Here is where they get a little tricky. You feel like you already canceled your Stash account but that isn’t the case. Plus the wording on this screen is strange. You need to click cancel instead to actually close your account.
The Offer
Create a Stash account and Stash will start you with $10 in your Invest account. Plus earn 5,000 SB (worth $50) when you make your first deposit of $5 or more to your personal portfolio. You can find this offer here.
If you don’t want to mess with Swagbucks then you can get a $20 Offer Here.
Rack Up Tons Of Free Stocks With These Great Offers
Key Terms
- SB will appear as Pending for 32 days.
- Must enter valid sign-up information, including bank account information to earn SB.
- Offer may only be redeemed once (1) per user.
Conclusion
I’m not a fan of paying a monthly fee, even if it is just $1. There are many other apps out there that let you trade for free. But this offer could be worth doing just for the signup bonus alone.
And maybe you do like Stash compared to other investing app and you stick with it. I haven’t used it much myself, but please let us know if you do.
