The Eagles are heading to Las Vegas!
The rock band announced Thursday that it will play eight shows at Sphere, the new but already famous $2-billion venue with the wraparound video screen just off the Vegas Strip.
The band has sold more than 150 million albums to date, has had six No. 1 albums and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
These eight shows will take place during four weekends this fall, Sept. 20-21, Sept. 27-28, Oct. 11-12 and Oct. 18-19. Tickets for the concerts are set to go on sale June 21 (though presale access will be available to various groups as early as June 18).
Fans can enjoy the world’s highest resolution LED display that wraps up, over, and around the audience creating a fully immersive visual environment. The venue also features the world’s most advanced concert-grade audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, which delivers audio with unmatched clarity and precision to every guest.
Ticket prices start at $175 and include all taxes and fees.
