Transfer Bonuses for Japan Airlines, Aeroplan and IHG

With the start of the new month, we have three new transfer bonuses. Capital One is offering a 30% bonus for Japan Airlines while Chase is offering 20% bonus for Aeroplan and 70% bonus for IHG. Let’s go over the details.

Capital One: 30% Japan Airlines Bonus

Capital One has launched a new transfer bonus for Japan Airlines. You can now get 30% more JAL Miles when you transfer Capital One miles by 11:59PM Eastern Time on 04/30/2026.

Even with that bonus, you just get close to a 1:1 transfer, as the usual transfer ratio is 4:3. So now you get 1000 Capital One Miles = 975 JAL Miles.

Chase: 20% Aeroplan Bonus

Chase has launched a 20% bonus for transferring Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan points. The offer is valid now through 11:59 PM ET on April 30, 2026. Bonus Aeroplan points will be awarded by Aeroplan in your Aeroplan account after your transfer is complete.

Chase Aeroplan Cardmembers also an extra an extra 10% bonus for a total of 30% bonus Aeroplan points. To get the additional 10% bonus, Chase Aeroplan Cardmembers need to transfer a minimum of 50,000 points from Chase Ultimate Rewards® to Aeroplan. The maximum bonus points you can receive from the Chase Aeroplan Cardmember bonus is 25,000 Aeroplan points per calendar year.

Chase: 70% IHG Bonus

Last and least, you can also get 70% Bonus IHG One Rewards points when you transfer Ultimate Rewards points by 11:59 PM ET on April 30, 2026. Bonus points will be awarded by IHG in your IHG One Rewards account after your transfer is complete.

Even with a 100% bonus that we have seen in the past, it’s not worth transferring Chase points to IHG. So this is an easy pass.
