Lyft Driver Has Mental Breakdown On Ride, Placed On Psychiatric Hold By Police – Sacramento CBS Local
I am somewhat surprised stuff like this doesn’t happen more often. It doesn’t seem like Uber or Lyft puts a ton of effort into screening drivers in my opinion. Scary situation for sure and I am glad she was able to get out of the car unharmed.
‘Flight from hell’: Severe turbulence injures 15 passengers, wrecks cabin on Argentina-bound plane – Fox News
This shows you why it is important to have your seat belt on during the flight. Crazy how much luggage ended up in the aisle and how much food and drink splattered the walls. It must have been insanely scary. Buenos Aires is high on my list of places I want to go so I hope heavy turbulence isn’t a norm on that route.
Unwanted game of ‘footsie’ on Southwest flight leads to emergency landing – New York Post
From the article: Brafford admitted to using meth a day earlier and said he also had overdosed on heroin Saturday, according to the complaint. He also said that God had been talking to him during the flight.
That about sums it up right there. I am glad the woman was able to get away before it escalated any further. I hope Southwest sues him for damages for the cost of the diversion.
Man arrested for groping woman on flight says ‘President says it’s OK to grab women’s private parts’ – Wesh 2 News
It looks like Southwest was the creeper’s airline of choice over the past week. I have no idea how she thought someone lifting up her shirt from behind was an accident the first time. Then he goes on to say the President says it is okay after being told why he was being charged….oh brother.
Conclusion
That does it for this week’s edition of Travel Tabloids. I hope you got a few chuckles and interesting reads out of the collection. Hopefully it made the middle of the work week go a little bit faster. Let me know if you find anything interesting via email (mark@milestomemories.com) or in the comments section. Also let me know which story you found most interesting this week.
