Citi has a promotion that will give you a 30% bonus when transferring ThankYou points to the Flying Blue program. Let’s check the details.

The Offer

Transfer ThankYou Points to Flying Blue and receive 30% Bonus Flying Blue Miles. Offer is valid for Point Transfers to Flying Blue completed by 11:59 PM ET August 29, 2018.

  • 1,000 ThankYou Points = 1,000 1,300 Flying Blue Miles

Conclusion

The award pricing on Flying Blue is no longer zone based. With that, many redemption options have gone up, although there’s a few cases where it might be better. With this 30% bonus you should still get a good deal. This is one of the best transfer bonuses we have seen in a while for Flying Blue miles. You can redeem on Air France, KLM and SkyTeam partners.

I would still suggest transferring ThankYou points only if you have a redemption in mind in the near future. I prefer keeping my points in a flexible currency.
