And if you’ve been thinking of testing one of these gigs yourself, Rakuten is offering an increased signup bonus for new Uber drivers. You can now earn $350 when you sign up to drive on the Uber app and complete your first drive.
This is one of the better bonuses we have seen recently for new Uber drivers. But, there are some things that you should know before signing up.
You must complete your first drive within 21 days from the day you begin the signup process. So make sure you complete all the requirements quickly, and also sign up at a time when you think you’ll be able to complete a ride.
You need to send in some documents that Uber needs such as registration, insurance and more. You can complete the whole process online. It should take about a week with background check and everything else.
It’s worth noting that you should inform your insurance that you are driving for Uber, so you are fully covered on that one trip that is required for this offer. Uber does not require this. They just want to see that the car is insured.
