Up to 4,500 Bonus Points on Amazon Purchases

American Express is targeting select cardholders with new Amex Offers for Amazon. This is good timing as you can use them for Prime Day which is next month. The offers vary from one account to the other, but you can earn as much as 4,500 extra points. Let’s see the details.

The Offers

  • Get 5 additional Membership Rewards® points for each dollar spent on qualifying purchases made using your enrolled eligible Card online at Amazon.com by 8/30/2024. Limit of 1,500 Membership Rewards points.
  • Get 4 additional Membership Rewards® points for each dollar spent on qualifying purchases made using your enrolled eligible Card online at Amazon.com by 8/30/2024. Limit of 3,000 Membership Rewards points.
  • Get 1,500 additional Membership Rewards® points by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $400 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 8/30/2024. Limit of 4,500 total Membership Rewards points.

Conclusion

These are not huge bonuses, but they are still useful as you can earn up to an extra 5X on your Amazon purchases. If you use a card that earns 2X for example, you would get a total of 7X back.
