Virgin Hotels Las Vegas Set for March 25 Opening
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas announced Thursday that it will open its doors on March 25. The resort was originally set to open on January 15 before the pandemic forced a change of plans.
“It has been a journey, but to finally reach this milestone and confidently announce our opening date would not be possible without our incredible partners and construction team,” said Richard “Boz” Bosworth, president and CEO of JC Hospitality and owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, in a news release. “Today we are not only celebrating the fact that we finally get to welcome back guests to the most exciting resort to open in Las Vegas in years, but we also get to bring our team members back to work.”
The new property is located at the site of the former Hard Rock. It is branded as a “re-conceptualized casino resort”. It will combine the casino experience with “a passion for food and beverage with music and culture.” It will feature a five-acre desert pool oasis, a live music and entertainment theatre, and three hotel towers with 1,500 chambers and suites.
The resort is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton.

“Chambers and suites”? I enjoy a nice suite but chambers are where they torture people. Maybe they should consider a term that’s a touch less Spanish Inquisition.
