Who Can Access Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club?
Chase has revealed that on Tuesday, May 16, the first domestic Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club will open its doors at Boston Logan International Airport. You can check out more details and images of the lounge here.
But along with the announcement of the lounge opening, Chase has also revealed who can access it. And the rules a bit different from what was previously hinted by Chase.
So let’s take a look at the rules about who can enter the lounge and who can bring guests for free.
Which Chase customers have complimentary access to Sapphire Lounge by The Club?
Chase Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve and The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card primary cardmembers and authorized users who have activated their complimentary Priority Pass membership have Sapphire Lounge by The Club access.
Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers may bring up to two guests per Priority Pass Membership card, per visit, for free and additional guests for $27. There’s no additional charge for children under two.
Ritz-Carlton cardmembers may bring unlimited guests at no charge. Presumably, Ritz-Carlton authorized users could have the same privileges. That’s quite generous and I’m sure someone will test the limits of “unlimited”.
How can I access Sapphire Lounge by The Club if I don’t have complimentary access through Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve or The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card?
Other Priority Pass members receive one complimentary visit to a Sapphire Lounge by The Club per calendar year. After that, there is an entry fee of $75 upon each subsequent visit to any location within the Sapphire Lounge by The Club network.
Please visit lounge location listings or FAQs on Priority Pass for additional information.
What do I need to enter Sapphire Lounge by The Club?
If you already have a Priority Pass membership, just show your physical or Digital Membership Card at the lounge to enter. You also need to present a valid boarding pass within three hours of your flight.
If you’re a Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve or Ritz-Carlton cardmember and have not yet enrolled in your complimentary Priority Pass membership, you can activate your membership by signing in to your Chase account or calling the number on the back of your card.
I’m a Sapphire or Sapphire Preferred cardmember. Can I access Sapphire Lounge by The Club?
No, complimentary lounge access is not a benefit for Chase Sapphire or Sapphire Preferred credit cards.
The only way to access the lounge would be to upgrade to Sapphire Reserve, or sign up for Priority Pass.

Smart move by Chase/The Club to include The Ritz-Carlton Visa Infinite. It’s interesting that Ritz-Carlton cardholders get unlimited guests per visit, but JPMR and CSR only get two.
It’s because the Ritz card which is no longer offered still has unlimited guests for PP.
What if you have multiple Priority Pass memberships, associated with different credit cards? Is it one entry per Priority Pass account per year, or one per person regardless of the number of Priority Pass accounts that person has? Also, is it one entry per calendar year or per membership year?
