My 4 New Wyndham Timeshare Presentation Offers
I received an email with a whole bunch of Wyndham Timeshare presentation offers. And I have to admit that they are kind of tempting. These are not as luxurious as the Hyatt offer I received last year but they are a lot closer and perfect for a quick weekend trip.

Details of the Offer
I think this timeshare offer is kind of unique since they sent out 4 Wyndham timeshare presentation offers at the same time. They are all the same cost and come with the same perks which I thought was a nice touch. They are all for 3 days and 2 nights which is perfect for my weekend getaway game ;).
Each offer comes with the following:
- 3 days/2 nights at an area hotel
- 15,000 Wyndham points
- $100 rebate coupon for a future Club Wyndham Travel stay (US only)
- The cost is $149 for each one
- Offer expires September 30, 2018
You must attend a 120 minute presentation on club ownership. If married your spouse must join you. Earliest available check in is 8 days after signing up and you have 12 months to complete the trip.
Locations Offered
The four locations I was offered were Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, San Antonio and Alexandria (DC Area). Let’s take a look at the accommodations offered for each:
Myrtle Beach, SC – Bay Watch Resort Conference Center, Barefoot Resort Rentals or comparable area hotel.
Las Vegas, NV – Harrah’s Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas or comparable area hotel.
San Antonio, TX – Wyndham Garden San Antonio Riverwalk, Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk or comparable area hotel.
Alexandria, VA – Alexandrian Hotel, Hilton Alexandria Old Town or comparable area hotel.
You can check out the full list of destinations HERE. From my Hyatt timeshare article’s comments it sounds like there is a good chance that I could call in and request a different destination.
Value
I think most of these options would offer me about half off the regular rate of the room, maybe slightly more. The Wyndham points are worth at least 1 cent a piece. So you could look at it like you were buying Wyndham points at their min value and getting a free 2 night stay for 2 hours of your time.
I am tempted by this option because it is a quick trip and many of the destinations are easy to get to as well. The downside is it is Wyndham points and hotels which are less preferable to other options.
Conclusion
I am not sure if I will take them up on their offer or not but I will consider it. If I can fit it into my plans somehow it may be worth it. I just have to be sure to go in there with my NO face on haha.
Let me know if you have done a Wyndham timeshare presentation before and what you thought about it in the comments.

Timeshare offers like this one from Wyndham are attractive if you like the destinations being offered and can say no under pressure from a salesperson. We use the Hilton Grand Vacations Club $149 offer every 1-2 years because they provide great value for a minor inconvenience. And by inconvenience, I mean using 90-120 minutes of your vacation to attend a timeshare presentation.
They do offer decent value for a few hours of your time.
+1 to HGV.
I get these e-mails also, but the locations I wanted weren’t on the list. Had to call wyndham since I couldn’t book a reservation online and was redirected afterwards for 500 points to listen. I told them I wish Chicago and Lake Tahoe were on the list and she said can do for around the same price. She even looked into 4 days/3 nights and found it was actually cheaper than 2 nights! plus, the 3 nights were 30k points
I went to one before from a concierge and my main salesperson told me one in ten people that come buy into it. My coworker strangely bought a RCI timeshare during her honeymoon. She enjoys it because she has kids and she can have a two bedroom suite.
Thanks for the great tip Rick. 30K points for around the same price is an awesome deal!
[…] Wyndham Tempting Me With Their Latest Timeshare Offers by Miles to Memories. Not bad given the points are enough for a free night anyway. Always remember to call in to get a better than advertised deal “I’m interested in going but my partner needs more convincing that it won’t be a waste of our vacation”. […]
How does one get targeted for these offers? I’m feeling a bit left out here lol.
I think just being a part of the loyalty program. Some have said you can call in and request the offer sometimes too.
Last Jan. at The New York Times Travel Show and last Feb. at the Liberty Travel Expo, reps at numerous booths were competing with each other to market these timeshare weekends. The rep from Wyndham advised me one could also contact Wyndham directly to schedulw and buy these.
ready carefully to what state residents it is available to. I got similar offer to and the CA was excluded.
Good point Rich
The presentation is a joke. Super high-pressure. Even if you have the “no” on your face, you can expect to go through at least 3 sales people before they let you out.
They will be trying to sell you Worldmark credits at retail, but if you’re really interested in “investing” in their program there are numerous other ways to get the credits at a STEEP discount. Just do a Google search for them: there are a number of brokerages based in California that sell the credits, and I know a few folks who have purchased them at bankruptcy estate sales.
I think their model is pretty good, but the killer are the yearly maintenance dues and the cleaning fees you have to pay when you stay at a property. Oh, and you’ll need around 35,000 credits to be able to book anything useful on a yearly basis. Just didn’t pan out as far as my budget goes, once you factor in the initial cost for the credits plus the yearly fees. I don’t spend anywhere NEAR that much on hotels, so doesn’t make sense for me.
My $0.02.
Thanks Tyler – sad to hear they are super high pressure. I know most other TS companies do the song and dance and can tell if they have a chance with you or not so don’t go too hard.
