10% Off Your Next Prime Membership Renewal – Lock It In Today

This would probably be in my top 3 favorite Black Friday deals today (along with $60 Amazon credit and 25% off Loungaroo).  I like this one because Amazon Prime continues to go up in price pretty much every year.  And by using Gift of Prime you can lock in this discounted price for your next renewal or for as many years as you want really. This has been added to our Black Friday Deals Masterlist as well.

Details

Get 10% off Gift of Prime Amazon purchases.  These are a Prime membership that you can send to other people or keep for yourself to lock in the reduced $107 price tag.

When you purchase Gift of Prime it will send you an email with a special link.  If you click it while you still have an active membership it will offer you to turn this purchase into an Amazon gift card.  But if you wait till your membership expires to click on it then you will renew your membership at the lower rate.  Be sure that you do not have auto renew set up on your Prime account.

These Gift of Prime offers don’t expire so as long as you can remember to keep them and save them on your email you can lock in the savings for years to come.  Don’t do it if you don’t trust yourself to use them down the road though.

Other Amazon Offers

Here are a list of current Amazon deals that may work for you if this one didn’t or you can stack them with the credit you earn.

Final Thoughts

I plan to grab one or two of these so I can lock in the savings for future years.  Remember that you can always turn them into a gift card if you end up getting Prime free some other way.  These also make a great gift for the holidays.

Be sure to see if you were targeted for the $60 in Amazon credit offer too!

    • I think that is correct. I think you have to go an cancel your account and select to cancel when your year is up for it to not auto renew. Which is a terrible policy but the only way to do it.

  1. Picked up mine for next year. Thanks for the heads up.

FYI, Don’t try to tell Amazon it’s not a gift at checkout as they’ll remove it from your cart.
