Get 20% Off Southwest Award Flights (Targeted Offer?)

I woke up this morning to a nice surprise from Southwest Airlines.  They had emailed me an offer for 20% off award flights.  That is a pretty stellar offer and wouldn’t you just happen to know that I have a freshly minted stash of Rapid Rewards points.  Thanks to Southwest vouchers (cough cough Amex airline credits).  Let’s take a look at the offer details.

20% Off Southwest Flights

Offer Details

Here are the terms of the offer:

  • Book your flight by 9/17/20
  • Travel from 9/15-10/31/20
  • Enter code SAVE20NOW

And that should get you 20% off the award flight cost. My wife did not get the email and I was able to apply the code on her account so it doesn’t appear to be targeted.

Final Thoughts

If you had upcoming travel be sure to check Southwest prices with this sale.  It is worth a few speculative bookings since you can cancel Southwest award flights for free.  So lock in those cheap prices!
