Great Deal! 4th Night Free At 246 Hyatt Place Hotels
I was poking around the Hyatt website this evening thinking about which hotels I should lock in before the category changes when I noticed a pretty good deal. I couldn’t find any coverage of it yet so I assume it is a brand new deal. Hyatt is offering the 4th night free at 246 Hyatt Place Hotels, which is over 70% of them. This looks to be for cash stays only.

- Receive a fourth night free when you book by May 11
- For stays through May 15, 2019
- Only at select Hyatt Place hotels
- Code auto populates as 4HFR
- It should stack with the 1,500 point promotion as well

There were a lot of airport hotels obviously but there were some great options too. Marathon, Bangkok, Phuket Patong, Royal Oak, Ocean City, Portland, Daytona Beach etc. were all on the list as well.
Is It Really 4th Night Free?
I checked the prices because Hyatt likes to do these offers and then jack up the regular rates. The real answer is it depends. I found some hotels were only a $20 difference between a 3 night and 4 night stay which was probably just taxes and fees. Some others were $150 in difference between a 3 and 4 night booking. The $150 one was on a $350 room so it was still a discount but not a true 4th night free. Just be sure to check the 3 and 4 night stays for your days to see how it prices out.
Conclusion
If you were planning a Hyatt stay over the next few months and a Hyatt Place can fit the bill this deal is worth checking out. Even if it isn’t always a true 25% off it will likely save you 15% or more on your booking.

Lame! The ones I looked at they jacked the prices during the promotion. No real deals here I can see. Certainly not the “Great Deal!” in the click bait.
Do some research before you blindly post. Find one of those “Great Deals!”
I warned of this in the article Fathiss but I guess you didn’t read the article though. And even when they don’t give the full 4th night free which is a poor practice it is still a 10-20% discount on the entire stay. I searched 4-5 properties and half of them had the 4th night at a minimal extra cost of around $20.

So, if I’ve already booked a stay at one of these locations, during the time period – because I did not use the code, I’d have to cancel and re-book?
Yeah I would check the prices versus your booking and rebook it first if it is a savings then cancel the old one as long as it is a cancelable rate etc.
FYI, the same 4NF deal is available at 90+ Hyatt Regency hotels too. Same rate code. Note that these rates are prepaid and non-refundable but you can save some $ if you’re ok with those restrictions.

Did you find any actual discounts versus a third-party site such as Priceline? I just attempted a number of searches on multiple properties I am interested in for multiple weekends. Most hotels gave me the message: “this rate is not available for this stay”. In those cases, Priceline was materially cheaper, as usual. The few that did work were the exact same total price as Priceline.
Since Hyatt’s website is usually 10-25% more expensive than Priceline or ID90Travel (and can be twice as much as Priceline Express), I usually book with one of them and forego the points (and on the rare occasion when eBates actually decides to pay out, I also can get a 4-6% rebate). Hyatt refuses to price match these sites, so I don’t waste my time with that “price guarantee” nonsense.
I guess for a 4 night stay I will book through Hyatt for once, but I won’t be extending a 3-night stay for the non-existent “deal”.
I did not check it versus Priceline but if they are that much cheaper it makes sense for sure.
