50% Off Award Stays at Hyatt's Exclusive Miraval

50% Off Award Stays at Hyatt’s Exclusive Miraval

Hyatt is running a huge special at their special Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa partner property.  This is a very costly partner property that is outside of the traditional Hyatt award chart.  Miraval is an all inclusive wellness resort and spa.  It is a unique experience and it isn’t your typical hotel stay.

UPDATE: *Please note* Miraval will be undergoing a property enhancement project from May 10th through September 30th. Contact us or visit our homepage for more information.

Details on the Offer

The offer terms are as follows:

  • Call (866) 792-3395 or your nearest Global Contact Center to redeem a free night using points or Points + Cash at Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa.
  • Get 50% of the points you redeemed back as Bonus Points.
  • The stay must happen between between 6/1/2018 and 8/31/2018

Here is the normal award chart for Miraval

The bad thing about the offer is that since it is a rebate you need to have the full amount of points up front.  You also have to pay additional points for the second person. I did a dummy booking for a Wednesday in July and the cost came out to $800 a night for two people.

There is also an offer on cash stays where you can earn double points on stays from June 1 – August 31.  No registration needed.

Conclusion

If you had your eye on this property now is the time to book.  At 32,500 a night for two people all inclusive it isn’t that much higher than a stay at a Hyatt Ziva or Zilara.  And, it sounds like it is a completely different experience.  The Miraval gets great reviews on Tripadvisor.  If you need to unplug this looks like a good spot.

I imagine it will be extremely hot during the summer though and that is probably why it is on sale.

Did you have your eye on a stay here?  Does this sale make you more likely to book it?

  1. I was there in March and am book to another trip in Aug. The spa is extremely expensive so you won’t get much with your $175 a day credit, you need to plan to spend additional money. I had what is called a 20 minute shoulder massage for $90, but with the time for introducing and dressing/undressing, it is about 14 minutes. I do LOVE MIRAVAL though! And the residences are FABULOUS!

  2. Right on, Mark, their spa is a destination unto itself. The $175 daily credits cover enough services to feel pampered.

Looking forward to a similar deal when Miraval opens their new Austin property later this year/early next year (like they did for AZ).

  3. That is an amazing property & experience at an INCREDIBLE deal. It is already, however, close to 100 deg now in Tucson so expect to limit outdoor activity. LOTS of great indoor workshops/lectures/exercise classes, however, so for a couple of days it wouldn’t be so bad.

  4. I stayed here last year. It is an amazing property! The food alone is like eating in a great restaurant 3 times per day, plus there is a snack/cafe bar that’s open all day. All free/unlimited. There are also free activities, great quality, like a 4 hour mountain biking trip through cactus-lined trails, spa treatments, etc.. not junky. Per each night of your reservation you get like $200 in resort credit, included in the award price. Check it out.
